This weekend the family headed out to Harvard (where God left his shoes), IL with the D/Cs. The drive is about an hour outside the city. The kids had a blast picking apples, riding the train and merry-go-round and playing in the huge play "kiddie" area. The grownups were disappointed the donut machine was on the fritz.

Johnny and Pete cruise Oshkosh. Johnny has cool Converse (Chuck's) that all the babies love. And Pete works his crazy skills on his "tri"... safety first though.. And in case anyone missed it St. Louis U is ranked 20th this week in college soccer polls and DePaul is 17th. Yep you read that right. DePaul upset #2 ranked UCONN. It is not gonna last - but will be fun while it lasts..

Jamie bought sushi (California roll) from the grocery store- of course Pete asked, " Can I have some ?" And to the dismay of his grandparents -- Pete loves it.

We had another great weekend with our friends. On Saturday we participated in the FAAN Walk (Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network). Our friend and neighbor, Maggie (who is Pete's age) is allegeric to peanut and dairy products. www.foodallergy.org . I regret to inform I didn't take any pictures but we had fun walking with our friends as part of the "Nuttin' gonna stop us" team. On Sunday we visited the track for the final time this season with Rob and Kari and the girls.

* Hasemeier Visit

Mom and Dad visited Chicago for three days. We had dinner at Moretti's, visited the Garfield Observatory (Niki Garden) and of course Arlington Race Track. Kids had a blast (grandpa and Clara played their favorite game ="boo" and Pete and Grandma read a lot of books. And John just crawled around and smiled the whole time

I just set this up. May never use it. Tom, Jill and Joanie visited the family in Chicago this weekend. Visited Millennium Park, Ed Debvic's and Arlington Race Track. (John has hand, foot mouth disease). Jamie and I attended first briss (Noah Scott Steele)... I know this is all very random -- bear with me...
